Reply to this		overall I have to say this vid is not so good. I wouldn't make this comment on an international forum, I but I wouldn't be fair if I didn't speak the truth. especially after how bad i dissed the "zoom" video.

David and Cyril performs some sick techniques as usual. But

-- more than have the footage is distorted making things appear about 1/3 bigger than they are. :(

-- some footage is sped up. for what reason, I have no idea.

-- the editing is more like high lights from a slam dunk contest than parkour training.

-- then there is a seemingly random B-13 title card at the end? strange.

-- and it has more tricking in it than the action movie it is supposedly promoting!

I'm very surprised at the reaction of so many experienced traceurs. But if this is an official promotion, frankly our community deserves a little better. I hope the featurette is of a higher quality than this.

This was just a little vid thrown together by Andrew over at MagPics. It's not anything official in terms of promotion or meant to be any sort of documentation of training. It's just some highlights from the footage we gave him and a fun title card at the end.

I'm not sure what you thought it was going to be. It was never advertised as anything more.
The distorted footage is a result of so many different formats the different footage was in. I'm not sure exactly what you think appears bigger than is real. Perhaps you need to come back to Cali and see first hand. =P

Again, this was not meant to be an "official promotion." I'm not sure where you got that idea.

I hope I've cleared some stuff for you and you can relax into a sigh of relief again. Have fun and enjoy the movie.

Reply to this		distortion: it's kinda the difference between 10ft and 8ft. Of course I know what caused the problem; I attend to such things all the time. It would have take a few minutes to fix the aspect ratios. No excuse for that from a pro.

I got the idea about the promotional part based on certain responses and the title card at the end.

whoever cut this should have taken a bit more time with it if it was a "thanks for the footage and help" gesture.

Of course everyone is going to be thrilled to see footage of David and Cyril. But wouldn't you rather have at least and AVERAGE vid made of your footage?

PK Cali is a very high profile scene and the standards should be a set just a little higher. especially for a vid that is posted on so many forums and youtube.

I just came from watching B13 and the description for parkour in the theater flyer was RIDICULOUS. A very sad representation.

We have no problem dissing a bad pk article and this is the vid equivalent -- outside media which enlists the help of the community and then does a poor job.
