A good customizable workout thing I learned and thought I'd share.

I hope I can explain this so it makes sense lol

I was working out with a friend last week and after we ran 3 miles he had a deck of cards with him: 52 cards and 4 jokers(we only had 1 joker but it gets reshuffled back into the deck so you have to pull it 4 times)

So each card had a certain type of workout exercise written on it, for example butterfly kicks, leg raises, pullups, pushups etc. the scoring is basically the same as 21. Face cards = 10, 2-10 = their respective values, and ace's are 11. So each suit (diamonds, clubs, spades, hearts) has a different exercise. you pull two cards at a time so including jokers its 28 rounds long. say you pull an 8 with pushups written on it and a 10 with some type of abs. So for that round you do 8 pushups and 10 abs. Another example if you pull 10 of pushups and an 8 of pushups then for that round you would do 18 pushups. You proceed to make your way through the entire deck until its finished.

It helps if you do it with a partner for extra motivation i guess but I was just sharing in case any of you wanted to try it.

Oh also I forgot to say the rule for jokers is that you come up with a different exercise than what your cards are labeled and a set number of whatever that exercise is so you can change it up a little

Edit (CAK010): I've decided to call this the "House of Cards Workout"

I'll try to do this workout. Seems cool.

You do not need to know where you are, but where you are going. Parkour. Its life.

Oooh, using dice would be a good variation on this. Use one dice for the exercise and then the other dice multiply by 10 for the amount.
Thanks kasai_kun!

Sweet idea. I think I am going to take my own take on it so that the exercises are even more diverse.
