I've told people about this method I use, and finally decided to make a quick vid with my phone. Check it out. It'll get your muscles burning like crazy, and do it super fast!

-link-

If you use all your fingers (pinky especially!) to rotate the paper in your hands to crumple into a ball, you'll feel a burn like you wouldn't believe!

This got old for me in like 3 weeks or so...it starts becoming cardio more than strength building(the paper would expand faster than I could compress it when i moved on to 1.5 sheets).

My sledgehammer definitely kills my grip every time though, possibly better than rock climbing because with rock climbing it is harder to break grip strength plateaus unless you really know what you are doing. And I do not really know what I am doing.

Parkour is not competitive. If we don't train the new practitioners in safety, they will get hurt, and we will not be able to do parkour freely anymore. This is unacceptable.

those gripmaster things only allow your fingers to move up and down in 1 direction. there's no small dynamic movements left and right, like you get crumpling paper.

Military style? Like full extension, chin above bar palms out? Aren't those just called pull ups?

your arms are gripping the bar, about 2-3 feet apart or so, so when your chin is above the bar, both yer arrms are at 90°angles. bar is also turned slightly downward. dunno how else to describe it.
how aboutthat style, using towels wrappeed around the bars? lol, or just too hard???
