El Toyon Park Located on 238 S U Ave, National City, CA, United States

(the area between Paradise valley hospital and wrigley's grocery)

warm up/stretch at the benches by the b-ball court OR the Green box near bathrooms at el toyon park ,not field...PARK If you look at he map, its the side that doesnt have the baseball diamond on it

I always wear red Hawaiian print shorts or blue track pants with a Red mini backpack....or just look for a lil bwn dude running around with a shirt tail >_<

I just recently found out about Parkour, and I happen to be on spring break. So, the timing is perfect for me to hit up sessions this week.

but in case it goes down, i don't really have any running shoes but i do have some tennis shoes. ugly diadoras to be specific lol.

i've also been throwing around the idea about getting some vibrams some day. :p

for drilling and conditioning yes there great cuase i wear somthing simillar at el toyon...

but at balboa and just in general i wouldnt recommend them because unless u wanna roll out of everything...they are horrible for big drops onto uneven surfaces.

well shoes dont really matter, if anything worry more about getting your form down before you worry about grip and such

A note on taking drops: If you have to roll while barefoot or wearing vibrams in order to not hurt your feet, you should be rolling with regular shoes as well, or not dropping from that height at all.

Your shoes may prevent your feet from getting bruised but they dont prevent the cartilage in your knees from slowly wearing down.
