Found out about PKCali on a youtube vid and had to check this out.

This thread looks major old but is anyone here still planning on doing meetups and jams for the Bakersfield area. I've been trying to find a group to jam with and a place to go. If anyone's arranging something, then i'm willing to join, I've got a friend who might be interested in pk meetups too.

Hey guys, yeah this thread nearly died for a bit. I broke my leg + ankle while out longboarding about 5 weeks ago, so I'll be out of the game for a while (still have to rehab afterwards). But I'll change the information so you can hit up some of the guys I train with. (Text us!)

If you need a ride or anything, both Nadienne and I (Christian) have a car. Pitch in a little gas money (Depending on where you live), I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for one of us to pick you up.

If you guys have a jam or day session, there are some of us in Visalia who would love to meet you all and train with you!

Hm, that's not too far away. Would you mind coming down here to Bakersfield? (I have a car but rarely enough gas to get very far, lol.) And how many of you are there?

At the moment, I'm the only person in Bakersfield that I know that's capable of doing anything. Nadienne broke her leg, and the person I used to train with hasn't been too proactive about continuing doing parkour. There's also a 3rd person from these forums that I have yet to hang out with.

Well we have around 25 from the various towns surrounding Visalia that come out when they can and 7 or so (give or take) regulars that get together to train 2 - 4 times a week, depending on circumstances. We're getting together for a small jam with hot dogs, hamburgers, and parkour this Wednesday, and again (without the food) this Saturday.

If I can convince some of the guys here to chip in gas money, I'm sure a few of us could carpool up there someday soon.

In the meantime, you guys are always welcome to join us when/if you can!

Also, a get well soon to Nadienne from us :)

10 am til whenever we all go home at Riverway sports park on Highway 63 & River Way Drive.

We're looking at a group of about 5 or 6 for sure wednesday and possibly double that on saturday (things come up so its never fully certain) but that's the projected outlook :)

Yes sir, Saturday around 830 in the morning. We have to be there early cause the little ones tend to take over the playground by the afternoon.

Don't worry it's fine. I'd rather stay local incase I have to help family with anything. Thanks for the offer though. I'll just join in on any early Bakersfield meetups.

I wish you luck on your training but if I were you, i'd find another place to train. BC is where me and my friend used to train, but then we got yelled at by security telling us we couldn't train anymore for insurance reasons or something. You can take the risk if you want, but BC might not cool with you doing that. Sorry for the bad news :/

Where in Bakersfield do you live? I live by White Lane and Gosford. So I'm in South-West Bakersfield, I'm able to train any time, any day. Text me, 'cause I don't check this too often. 661-912-9826
